Democracy works when we participate.

Whether you’re voting for the first time, checking your registration, updating your address, or just trying to figure out what’s on your ballot, you shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to make your voice heard.

I’ve put together some resources to make it easier to participate in our local democracy.

Your vote, voice, and participation matters.

Before every election, it’s a good idea to make sure your voter registration information is current.

You can check your registration, update your address, or make other changes through the Oregon Secretary of State.

If you’ve moved recently, don’t assume your registration automatically followed you. Take a minute to check.

Get Informed.
Get Involved. Vote.

You don’t have to be a political insider to participate in your democracy.

You don’t need to know every issue or follow every government meeting.

You just need to care enough to show up.

Check your registration. Learn about the candidates. Ask questions. Talk to your neighbors. And vote.

Because local government belongs to all of us.
