PRIORITIES FOR KEIZER

As the cost of living continues to rise, financial hardship is no longer limited to those who are homeless, unemployed, or living in poverty.

Seniors who have worked hard to own their homes may still struggle to afford a much needed roof repair. Families with two incomes find themselves choosing between groceries and other essential expenses. Young adults who are working toward independence are facing rents that make it increasingly difficult to afford a place of their own.

The rising cost of living touches every part of our community. We need to be thoughtful about how we use resources available to us and work together to develop sustainable solutions that ensure everyone has access to the basic necessities they need to live with dignity.
